Aedes aegypt combat magazine advertising

Illustration and Art Direction for a Magazine Advertising with the goal to inform the population
of the affected areas about prevention and reproduction of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito,
which is the transmitter of Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya diseases.
Briefing
Create a magazine advertisement aimed at educating the public on how to prevent the proliferation of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which is the mosquito that transmits dengue and urban yellow fever. Smaller than common mosquitoes, it is black with white stripes on its trunk, head, and legs. Its wings are translucent and the noise it produces is virtually inaudible to humans.
Problem
According to the Brazilian Ministry of Health, there were 252,379 confirmed cases of dengue, 17,593 confirmed cases of Zika, and 184,989 confirmed cases of Chikungunya in 2017. However, it is important to note that these numbers only represent confirmed cases, and the actual number of cases may be higher. The female mosquito deposits her eggs on the edges of containers with clean and stagnant water. It is necessary, then, that the population helps with this by not letting containers with stagnant water in their homes serve as a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
Solution
Create an illustrate an magazine advertisement, in infographic style, aimed at creating educational material. In addition to presenting 10 prevention tips, the decision to use icons helps in the understanding and absorption of information. We also decided to present a script and storyboard proposal for an animated social media video.
